Licensure

FinAudit CPA is a licensed US Certified Public Accounting firm, led by a CPA licensed in Montana and able to practice across US states. That licensure is what allows us to perform attestation engagements and sign the reports that result. We do not display accreditation marks or certification-body badges that we do not hold.

Certification bodies and the partner model

Some standards, such as the ISO family, are certified by accredited certification bodies rather than by a CPA firm. Where that applies, we say so plainly. We prepare you, run your readiness and internal audit, and work alongside an accredited certification body that performs the formal audit and issues the certificate. We do not claim to issue accredited certificates ourselves.

Independence and impartiality

We manage independence carefully. We assess and document potential conflicts before we accept an engagement, we separate advisory work from the assurance opinion where required, and we decline work that would compromise our objectivity. Our opinion is not for sale, and our fee never depends on reaching a particular conclusion.

Quality control

Every report passes through independent quality review before we issue it. Our methodology, working papers, and reviewer sign-off exist so that a second qualified professional has checked the work behind our name.

Complaints and appeals

If you believe we have made an error, treated you unfairly, or reached a conclusion you disagree with, you can raise it with us directly. Email hello@finauditcpa.com with the details. We acknowledge complaints promptly, investigate them impartially using people not involved in the original work, and give you a written response. If you remain dissatisfied, you may appeal, and a senior partner not connected to the matter will review it.
