Cookie Policy
Every cookie this site sets, what it is for, and how long it lasts. Last updated July 2026.
Your choice
The short version. We use four pieces of strictly necessary storage to make the site work, and nothing else unless you say yes. We set no advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we never sell your data.
Analytics stays off until you switch it on. If you decline, no analytics cookie is written at all — the tag is held in a denied state rather than being allowed to store first and be ignored afterwards.
What we set
Strictly necessary
These run on every visit and need no consent, because the site cannot function without them. None of them profile you or follow you elsewhere.
Analytics
Written only after you accept. Google Analytics tells us which pages get read and which get ignored, so we can write better ones.
Advertising
None. We run no advertising or retargeting tags, so there is no third category here. Google's advertising signals are held in a permanently denied state in our tag configuration rather than left to a default.
The details
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Local and session storage do a similar job by a different mechanism, so we list those here too rather than hiding behind the word "cookie".
How long your choice lasts
Your decision is stored for six months, after which we ask again. We also ask again whenever we change what we store or why, so your consent always matches what is actually running. The record stays on your own device and is never sent to our servers.
Third parties
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics is the only third party involved. Everything else on this site — fonts, icons, images, and the interactive elements — is served from our own domain, so no third party sees your visit by default.
Your rights
You can accept, decline, or change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining costs you nothing: no content is withheld and no feature is degraded. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our privacy policy.
